Soundtrack Academy is a program that uses music production to teach youth and adults how to build confidence, self-esteem and resilience while learning skills to create professional sounding music. Classes and workshops are led by Soundtracks to Life’s Founder and Music Producer D’Angelo “Taylor Famous” along with music engineers and industry professionals. Participants learn to write, record, engineer, and produce their own music. Regardless of their ability to play an instrument, sing, or perform in front of an audience, the atmosphere is always welcoming. Soundtrack Academy provides a culturally responsive avenue for youth and adults to become inspired while learning coping skills, social skills, self-expression, and teamwork.

In Soundtrack Academy’s weekly virtual music production classes, youth (ages 8+) and adults will learn key music production concepts like beat making, songwriting and musical arrangement, in addition to learning how to create/modify sounds and mix and record vocals.
